Our Learn-to-Skate & Learn-to-Play Hockey classes offers an exciting opportunity for people of all ages to discover the joy of roller hockey. Taught by experienced coaches, these classes are designed for beginners who are eager to learn the ropes of the sport. Whether you've never played hockey before or want to improve your skills, we'll teach you the basics of skating, passing, shooting, and game strategy in a welcoming and supportive environment. When is the Learn-to-Skate & Learn-to-Play Hockey Programs?

Youth: Sundays - Learn-to-Skate (12-12:30PM), Learn-to-Play (12:30-1:00PM).

Adult: Mondays - Learn-to-Play (5:45-6:45PM)

Learn-to-Skate is for beginners that are just learning to roller skate.
Learn-to-Play is the next step for both Youth and Adult players looking to learn and improve on the fundamental skills needed in hockey.

What is the cost of the Learn-to-Skate & Learn-to-Play Hockey Programs?

$120 for a 6-week session. 

At what age can my child begin skating and playing Roller Hockey?

Ages 4+, we're planning to provide classes for all age groups.

What equipment do you need for the Learn-to-Play programs?

Full roller hockey gear is required. Helmet, elbow pads, stick, shin guards, gloves, and rollerblades.

What happens after Learn-to-Play?

After Learn to Play, we'll make a recommendation for our players depending on their age and skill level. Every player will eventually have the opportunity to join a team in the Heatwave Arena Leagues.
